This month’s meeting will be held on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, at 11:30 AM. The meeting will be held at the City of Tallahassee Mabry Building located at 642 Mabry St.
This month we welcome speaker Randy Shane from Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. This presentation will be focused on cape seal over asphalt roads and fog seal over open-graded hot mix roads.
Mr. Shane currently holds the position of Technical & Marketing Manager where he oversees the States of Florida, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Michigan. He attended The Ohio State University and has over 37 years of experience in the Pavement Preservation and Pavement In-Place Reconstruction field. He has worked in the private sector since 1986 and has completed Micro-Surfacing and other Pavement Preservation projects for DOT’s in Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
Lunch will be available for purchase to those members who RSVP by 12:00 PM (Noon) Tuesday, January 31st. The lunch will be coming from Panera Bread and the choices are a box lunch featuring turkey or roast beef sandwiches or the choice of a Salad. The meal will include all the condiments, drinks, chips, and a cookie. Please RSVP with your lunch choice. The cost for lunch is $15.00 per person.
