We have received word from our National organization that we will be permitted to have an in-person gathering for our December meeting. Because of the Covid-19 Pandemic we will be following local guidelines including the wearing of masks when not dining and practicing safe social distancing. Our National organization has provided us a liability waiver that participants will need to sign. We have attached the waiver to this email so that you may review it ahead of the event. If you like you can sign the waiver ahead of time and email it to us or sign it and bring it with you to the lunch meeting. Forms will also be available at the meeting.
The meeting will be the culmination of our annual food drive for Second Harvest of the Big Bend. Attached is an updated flyer with information on how to make a monetary donation in the event you are unable to donate food items. There is a very real need for food assistance due to the ongoing pandemic. We collected over 500 lbs. of food last year. Let’s see if we can do that again this year.
Our December meeting will be held on the covered patio at Miller’s Ale House 722 Apalachee Parkway on Thursday December 10th. This is a week later than our normal meeting to allow a little extra time for members to gather items for the food drive. We will be dining at individual tables in groups of 1-4 and participants will order from the menu and pay for their meals. We will be giving away gift cards during the luncheon so come on out, bring some items for Second Harvest and enjoy the company of fellow members.
