She began her career as a Project Engineer focusing on residential structural & geotechnical design for 4 years and shifted gears to the drainage side of the industry when she started with ADS 8 years ago. Cate works throughout North FL with FDOT, County, and Municipal agency staff on project support, specification development, and product acceptance. She is currently serving as the APWA Young Professional Chair for the FL Chapter and Chair of the APWA National Young Professional Committee. Cate is passionate about increasing Young Professional involvement in the industry as well as encouraging high school & college students to pursue careers in the Public Works & Engineering fields.
